Those strut towers are terrifying!

I god a good chuckle out of “titty pink” ... because I’m 12 years old at heart :)

the one with all the brackets on it is most likely a Mercury Tracer wagon based on the interior. They were prone for the strut towers rusting and failing.

I bet you’re right. Seeing those things these days is like spotting a rare white elk. They all got junked long ago.

I want to ask you a question. I’ve been wanting to start a tool related blog for a while. It appears kinja doesn’t let users start blogs like Upper Midwest Kinja anymore. With that blog sitting dormant, would you be willing to transfer ownership of it to me? I’d like to convert that into a tool related blog.

Also, I wasn’t kidding about that Kenwood head unit and CD changer, I’d love to get those out of my garage. Next time you’re in Chicagoland, we’ll have to get together.
